Single-sided service assembled chambers KSO2-10
Single-sided service assembled chambers KSO2-10 (hereinafter KSO2-10 chambers) are designed for equipping indoor switchgears with frequent switching operations, protecting outgoing lines against overload currents and short-circuit currents, and ensuring power supply continuity. KSO2-10 chambers are used in three-phase AC electrical networks rated at 6(10) kV, 50 Hz for systems with isolated or arc-suppression reactor grounded neutral.
KSO2-10 chambers are designed to replace KSO-292, KSO-285, and KSO-272 chambers and feature several advantages over previously manufactured KSO-2 series chambers:
- increased operational reliability due to the use of modern high-voltage switching devices (vacuum circuit breakers) with high mechanical and switching endurance;
- relay protection is provided by multifunctional, compact, and highly reliable microprocessor units;
- enhanced operational safety due to the use of more reliable interlocks of high-voltage switching devices against erroneous actions of substation personnel during switching and repair operations, placement of auxiliary circuit equipment in a separate removable relay cabinet completely isolated from primary circuits, and location of busbars inside the chamber with top shielding by a protective hinged metal panel.
Single-sided service assembled chambers KSO2-10 comply with current regulatory documents in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The compliance of KSO2-10 chambers with standards, quality, and safety requirements is confirmed by the Certificate of Conformity of the State Certification System of the Republic of Kazakhstan (voluntary certification).
