Complete switchgear cabinets of the KM-1KF series
Indoor double-sided service complete switchgear units (KRU) KM-1KF are designed for receiving and distributing three-phase AC electrical energy at frequency of 50 and 60 Hz at rated voltage of 6 and 10 kV.
KM-1KF switchgear cabinets are used in auxiliary distribution gear of power plants, electrical substations of power systems and industrial enterprises, as well as in power supply facilities of vital agricultural consumers.
KM-1KF series cabinets are designed to operate under the following conditions::
- Installation altitude of KM-1KF cabinets above sea level - no more than 1000 m (use of switchgear cabinets at altitudes above 1000 m is allowed subject to compliance with GOST 15150-69, GOST 1516.1-76 and GOST 8024-90);
- In areas with seismicity not exceeding 9 points on the MSK-64 scale (GOST 17516.1-90);
- Rated values of environmental climatic factors according to GOST 15543.1-89 and 15150-69 for version U3;
- Ambient air temperature in the switchgear room from - 5° C to +40° C (at ambient air temperature below - 5° C heaters must be installed by the user in the switchgear room);
- Environment - non-explosive, free of conductive dust, aggressive gases or vapors in concentrations that destroy metals and insulation.
- Rated operation mode – continuous;
- Operating position in space - vertical, permissible deviation - no more than + 5 degrees from vertical;
- Heating temperature of cabinet enclosure parts accessible during operation in rated mode shall not exceed 50° C (GOST 14693-90);
- Upper heating temperature threshold of contact connections during operation is 75° C (GOST 8024-90).
